We tied two rooms together: her dining and great rooms, which are directly across from each other. With the very tall ceilings, we needed to maintain the height by mounting the drapes up higher on the windows. To soften the square edges of the windows while keeping the great views to the outside, we made grommet-top drapes on short rods with box colors on the top and a texture on the bottom. Then we added another dimension to the rooms with the graphic prints.
The Master Bedroom also has tremendous vistas out the back, so we installed Roller Shades to maintain those great views. We measured the angles of the bay window and had the window treatment fabricated to fit into the space perfectly. The braided fabric across the front, coupled with the bed pillows, add just the “punch” of color LuAnn wanted.
